Samuel Wong signs memorandum of understanding for HKIArb with AALCO Hong Kong Regional Arbitration Centre

On 25 May 2023, Samuel Wong attended the Establishment Ceremony of the AALCO Hong Kong Regional Arbitration Centre on behalf of the Hong Kong Institute of Arbitrators (HKIArb). During the ceremony, the HKIArb and the AALCO entered into a Memorandum of Understanding. The Memorandum signifies closer collaborations between the two institutions to advance the legal profession in Hong Kong and promote arbitration, mediation, other alternative dispute resolution, online dispute resolution and other related dispute resolution services.

The event was attended by the current Secretary for Justice, Deputy Secretary for Justice, around 100 diplomats, officials and representatives from local and international organisations, business chambers and leading dispute resolvers from all over the world.
