18LC welcomes Norman Hui as New Member
18LC is pleased to welcome Norman Hui as a member of Chambers.
Called to the Hong Kong Bar in 1996, Norman has an established practice in intellectual property, personal injuries, and commercial disputes. He appears in courts at all levels, as well as other specialist tribunals, including the Trade Marks Registry and the Copyright Tribunal. He has been recognised by Legal 500 as a leading junior in intellectual property law, which commends Norman as “very experienced in all types of IP actions, from the registry level to the court level. His advocacy skills are excellent and his arguments are always detailed, persuasive, and supported by abundant cases”.
Apart from acting as counsel, Norman has also served as a Principal Lecturer at the Faculty of Law of the University of Hong Kong since 2004. He has also sat as a Deputy District Judge in 2012, 2023, and 2024. He is a member of the Committee on Intellectual Law (CIP) and Committee on Personal Injuries (CPI) of the Hong Kong Bar Association.
