Andrew Liao SC has carried on active professional legal practice as a barrister in Hong Kong, specialising in all fields of intellectual property including technology and innovation, cultural and creative industries, brands and trademarks, including patents for inventions, industrial designs, copyright, copyright collective licensing, trademarks and trade names, passing off, trade secrets and confidential information, trade libel and injurious falsehood, allied rights and pre-emptive remedies, as well as general practice in commercial and other areas of law. He has been ranked in leading legal directories including Chambers and Partners, Legal 500, and World Trademark Review 1000.
Melinda Chiang has extensive experiences in general civil litigation, and has handled cases involving contractual disputes, trusts and property disputes, matrimonial and family matters, probate and estate administration, employment disputes, bankruptcy and insolvency, and enforcement proceedings. She is also developing a practice in alternative dispute resolution, particularly for cross border disputes.
