Seminar Introduction

The Sale of Goods (United Nations Convention) ordinance (Cap 641) brings to Hong Kong the application of CISG principles on international sales of goods. Its unique features as to the formation of contracts and the rights and obligations of contracting parties, together with their distinction from existing Hong Kong common law and statutory rules on sale of goods, make it all the more valuable and important for lawyers to be familiarise and keep abreast with CISG principles.

This interactive CPD seminar (2 points, pending Law Society approval) welcomes lawyers engaged in contentious and/or non-contentious commercial work. No entry fee is charged. The seminar will be followed by a drinks reception.

You may register for the Seminar on the website of the Hong Kong Institute of Arbitrators here.
